스트레스에서 평강으로

이사하는 것은 살면서 겪는 가장 큰 스트레스 중의 하나입니다. 우리는 내가 거의 20년 동안 살았던 집에서 지금의 집으로 이사했습니다. 그 첫 집에서 혼자 8년을 살다가 결혼하여 남편이 그의 모든 물건을 가지고 그 집으로 옮겨왔습니다. 나중에 아이가 생기면서 물건이 더 늘어나게 되었습니다. 새 집으로 이사하는 날에 사건이 없지 않았습니다. 이사 업체의 사람들이 도착하기 5분 전에도 나는 아직 책 원고를 마무리하고 있었습니다. 그리고 새 집에는 계단이 많아 계획했던 것보다 시간이 두 배나 걸렸고 짐꾼들도 두 배나 필요했습니다.

하지만 나는 그날 일어난 일들 때문에 스트레스를 받지 않았습니다. 그때 이런 생각이 들었습니다. ‘성경과 성경적 개념으로 가득 찬 책을 마무리하느라 많은 시간을 보냈었지. 그리고 하나님의 은혜로, 마감일을 맞추기 위해 성경에 집중하고 기도하며 글을 썼었어.’ 그래서 나는 내가 스트레스를 받지 않았던 주된 이유가 성경과 기도에 전념했기 때문이라고 믿고 있습니다.

바울은 “아무것도 염려하지 말고 다만 모든 일에 기도와 간구로 너희 구할 것을 감사함으로 하나님께 아뢰라”(빌립보서 4:6)고 썼습니다. 우리가 기도하고 하나님 “안에서 기뻐할 때”(4절) 우리는 마음의 초점을 우리의 문제에서 공급하시는 하나님께로 옮길 수 있습니다. 우리는 하나님께 우리에게 스트레스를 주는 것을 감당할 수 있게 도와 달라고 간구할 수 있지만, 그렇게 할 때 우리는 동시에 “모든 지각에 뛰어난”(7절) 평강을 주시는 하나님과 연결됩니다.

STRESS TO PEACE

Moving ranks as one of the biggest stressors in life. We moved to our current home after I’d lived in my previous one for nearly twenty years. I’d lived alone in that first home for eight years before I got married. Then my husband moved in, along with all his things. Later, we added a child, and that meant even more stuff.

Our moving day to the new house wasn’t without incident. Five minutes before the movers arrived, I was still finishing up a book manuscript. And the new home had several sets of stairs, so it took double the time and twice as many movers as planned.

But I wasn’t feeling stressed out by the events of that day. Then it hit me: I’d spent many hours finishing writing a book—one chockfull with Scripture and biblical concepts. By God’s grace, I‘d been poring over the Bible, praying, and writing to meet my deadline. So, I believe the key was my immersion in Scripture and in prayer.

Paul wrote, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God” (PHILIPPIANS 4:6). When we pray—and “rejoice in” God (V. 4)—we refocus our mind from the problem to our Provider. We may be asking God to help us deal with a stressor, but we’re also connecting with Him, which can provide a peace “which transcends all understanding” (V. 7). - KATARA PATTON

하나님이 듣고 계신다

배우이자 무술인인 척은 어머니의 백세 생일을 맞아 자신이 영적으로 변화되는데 어머니가 얼마나 중요한 역할을 했는지를 글로 함께 나누면서 어머니께 감사드렸습니다. “어머니는 인내와 믿음의 본보기이셨습니다.” 그녀는 대공황 시절 홀로 세 명의 아들을 키우면서 두 남편과 한 아들, 한 의붓아들, 그리고 손주들의 죽음을 겪었으며, 여러 번의 수술도 견뎌냈습니다. “[어머니는] 내 인생이 잘 풀릴 때나 안 풀릴 때나 늘 나를 위해 기도하셨습니다. 내가 할리우드에서 영적으로 방황할 때 어머니는 집으로 돌아가셔서 나의 성공과 구원을 위해 기도하셨습니다. 하나님께서 내가 할 수 있고 되어야 할 모든 것을 이루어 주시도록 도와 주신 [어머니께] 감사드립니다.”

어머니의 기도는 척이 구원을 얻고 또 경건한 아내를 얻도록 도와 주었습니다. 어머니는 아들을 위해 간절히 기도했으며, 하나님은 어머니의 기도를 들으셨습니다. 우리의 기도가 항상 원하는 대로 응답되지는 않기 때문에 우리는 기도를 마술 지팡이로 사용할 수 없습니다. 그러나 야고보는 우리에게 확신을 주며 “의인의 간구는 역사하는 힘이 크다”(5:16)고 말합니다. 척의 어머니처럼 우리도 병든 사람들과 어려움에 처한 사람들을 위해 계속 기도해야 합니다(13-15절). 그녀처럼 우리가 기도로 하나님과 교통할 때, 격려와 평안과 함께 성령께서 역사하신다는 확신을 얻게 됩니다.

GOD IS LISTENING

Chuck, an actor and martial artist, honored his mother on her hundredth birthday by sharing how instrumental she’d been in his spiritual transformation. “Mom has been an example of perseverance and faith,” he wrote. She raised three boys on her own during the Great Depression; suffered the death of two spouses, a son, a stepson, and grandchildren; and endured many surgeries. “[She] has prayed for me all my life, through thick and thin.” He continued, “When nearly losing my soul to Hollywood, she was back home praying for my success and salvation.” He concluded, “I thank [my mom] for helping God to make me all I can and should be.”

The prayers of Chuck’s mother helped him to find salvation— and a godly wife. She prayed fervently for her son, and God heard her prayers. We don’t always get our prayers answered the way we’d like, so we cannot use prayer as a magic wand. However, James assures us that “the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective” (5:16). Like this mom, we’re to continue to pray for the sick and those in trouble (VV. 13–15). When, like her, we commune with God through prayer, we find encouragement and peace and the assurance that the Spirit is at work.

THE TELLING ROOM

Northern Spain produced a beautiful way of expressing communion and friendship. With the countryside full of handmade caves, after each harvest some farmers would sit in a room built above a cave and inventory their various foods. As time passed, the room became known as the “telling room”—a place of communion where friends and families would gather to share their stories, secrets, and dreams. If you needed the intimate company of safe friends, you would head for the telling room.

Had they lived in northern Spain, the deep friendship shared by Jonathan and David might have led them to create a telling room. When King Saul became so jealous that he wanted to kill David, Jonathan, Saul’s oldest son, protected and befriended him. The two became “one in spirit” (1 SAMUEL 18:1). And Jonathan “loved him as himself” (VV. 1, 3) and—though he was heir apparent to the throne—recognized David’s divine selection to be king. He gave David his robe, sword, bow, and belt (V. 4). Later, David declared that Jonathan’s deep love for him as a friend was wonderful (2 SAMUEL 1:26).

As believers in Jesus, may He help us build our own relational “telling rooms”—friendships that reflect Christlike love and care. Let’s take the time to linger with friends, open our hearts, and live in true communion with one another in Him. - MARVIN WILLIAMS

하나님의 은혜를 재부팅하기

지난 몇 십년에 걸쳐 우리 영화계에 ‘재부팅’이라는 새로운 용어가 사용되고 있습니다. 영화계 용어로 재부팅이라는 말은 오래된 이야기를 꺼내어 그것을 다시 활성화시킨다는 뜻입니다. 어떤 재부팅은 슈퍼히어로 이야기나 동화 같이 익숙한 이야기를 다시 들려주기도 하지만, 어떤 재부팅은 덜 알려진 이야기를 취하여 새로운 방식으로 다시 들려줍니다. 하지만 어느 경우이든, 재부팅은 이야기를 새로 꾸미는 것과 같습니다. 그것은 새로운 출발이며, 또 오래된 것에 새 생명을 불어넣는 기회이기도 합니다.

재부팅과 연관된 또 다른 이야기가 있습니다. 그것은 복음 이야기입니다. 그 이야기에서 예수님은 죄를 용서하시고 풍요롭고 영원한 생명을 주시겠다고 우리를 초대하십니다(요한복음 10:10). 예레미야애가에서 예레미야는 우리를 향한 하나님의 사랑으로 인해 우리의 하루하루가 “재부팅”된다고 말합니다. “여호와의 인자와 긍휼이 무궁하시므로 우리가 진멸되지 아니함이니이다 이것들이 아침마다 새로우니 주의 성실하심이 크시도소이다”(예레미야애가 3:22-23).

THE REBOOT OF GRACE

Over the last several decades, a new word has entered our movie vocabulary: reboot. In cinematic parlance, a reboot takes an old story and jumpstarts it. Some reboots retell a familiar tale, like a superhero story or a fairytale. Other reboots take a lesser- known story and retell it in a new way. But in each case, a reboot is a bit like a do-over. It’s a fresh start, a chance to breathe new life into the old.

There’s another story that involves reboots—the gospel story. In it, Jesus invites us to His offer of forgiveness, as well as abundant and eternal life (JOHN 10:10). And in the book of Lamentations, Jeremiah reminds us that God’s love for us makes every day a “reboot” of sorts: “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness” (3:22–23).

God’s grace invites us to embrace each day as a fresh opportunity to experience His faithfulness. Whether we’re struggling with the effects of our own mistakes or going through other hardships, God’s Spirit can breathe forgiveness, new life, and hope into each new day. Every day is a reboot of sorts, an opportunity to follow the lead of the great Director, who is weaving our story into His bigger one. - ADAM R. HOLZ

하나님의 음성을 알아듣기

오랜 연구 끝에, 과학자들은 늑대들이 각기 지닌 특유의 목소리로 서로 의사소통을 한다는 사실을 알아냈습니다. 한 과학자는 특별한 음향 분석 프로그램을 사용하여 늑대의 울부짖는 소리의 다양한 음량과 음색으로 각각의 늑대를 100퍼센트 정확하게 가려낼 수 있었습니다.

성경에는 하나님이 그가 사랑하시는 창조물들의 특유의 목소리를 인식하는 사례가 많이 나옵니다. 하나님은 모세의 이름을 부르시고 그에게 직접 말씀하셨습니다(출애굽기 3:4-6). 시편 기자 다윗은 “내가 나의 목소리로 여호와께 부르짖으니 그의 성산에서 응답하시는도다” (시편 3:4) 라고 선포 하였습니다. 바울 사도도 하나님의 백성들이 그분의 음성을 알아듣는 것이 얼마나 값진 것인지 역설했습니다.

에베소 교회 장로들과 이별하면서 바울은 성령께서 예루살렘으로 가라고 “강권하신다”고 말했습니다. 그곳에 도착해서 무슨 일을 당할지 모르지만, 그는 하나님의 음성을 따르겠다고 자신의 결심을 굳혔습니다(사도행전 20:22). 바울은 자기가 떠난 후에 “사나운 이리떼 같은 거짓 선생들이” 교회 가운데서도 “일어나 그릇된 것을 가르칠” 것이라고 경고했습니다(29-30절, 현대인의 성경). 그러고 나서 장로들에게 하나님의 진리를 분별하는 데 깨어 있을 것을 권면했습니다(31절).

예수님을 믿는 신자들은 누구나 하나님께서 우리를 들으시고 응답하신다는 사실을 알 수 있는 특권이 있습니다. 그리고 언제나 성경말씀과 일치하는 하나님의 음성을 알아들을 수 있게 우리를 도우시는 성령님의 능력도 우리에게 있습니다.

RECOGNIZING GOD’S VOICE

After years of research, scientists have learned that wolves have distinct voices that help them communicate with each other. Using a specific sound analysis code, one scientist realized that various volumes and pitches in a wolf’s howl enabled her to identify specific wolves with 100 percent accuracy.

The Bible provides many examples of God recognizing the distinct voices of His beloved creations. He called Moses by name and spoke to him directly (EXODUS 3:4–6). The psalmist David pro- claimed, “I call out to the Lord, and he answers me from his holy mountain” (PSALM 3:4). The apostle Paul also emphasized the value
of God’s people recognizing His voice.

When bidding farewell to the Ephesian elders, Paul said the Spirit had “compelled” him to head to Jerusalem. He confirmed his commitment to follow God’s voice, though he didn’t know what to expect upon his arrival (ACTS 20:22). The apostle warned that “savage wolves” would “arise and distort the truth,” even from within the church (VV. 29–30). Then, he encouraged the elders to remain diligent in discerning God’s truth (V. 31).

All believers in Jesus have the privilege of knowing that God hears and answers us. We also have the power of the Holy Spirit who helps us recognize God’s voice, which is always in alignment with the words of Scripture. - XOCHITL DIXON

6학년인 손자 로건의 어려운 수학 숙제를 도와주는데, 손자가 자기는 엔지니어가 되는 것이 꿈이라고 했습니다. 숙제로 다시 돌아가 변수 ‘x’ 와 ‘y’를 가지고 어떻게 해야 할지 풀던 중 아이가 말했습니다. “도대체 이런 걸 언제 쓰게 돼요?”

나는 미소를 잔뜩 머금고 말했습니다. “로건, 네가 엔지니어가 되면 써야 할 게 바로 이거야!” 손자는 자기가 꿈꾸는 미래의 직업과 수학의 연관성을 아직 인식하지 못했던 것입니다.

때로는 우리도 성경을 그와 같은 식으로 봅니다. 설교를 듣거나 성경의 어떤 부분을 읽을 때 “도대체 이 구절을 언제 써먹지?”라고 생각하는 것입니다. 시편 기자 다윗은 그에 대한 답을 몇 가지 알고 있었습니다. 그는 성경에서 발견되는 하나님의 진리가 “영혼을 소성시키며”, “우둔한 자를 지혜롭게 하며”, “마음을 기쁘게 하는데”(시편 19:7-8) 효과적이라고 말합니다. 시편 19편에 언급되어 있는 성경의 처음 다섯 권(그리고 다른 모든 성경)에서 찾아볼 수 있는 성경의 지혜는 우리가 날마다 성령의 인도하심에 의지하도록 우리를 도와줍니다(잠언 2:6).

WHY DO THIS?

As I was helping my sixth-grade grandson, Logan, with some tough algebra-type homework, he told me of his dream of becoming an engineer. After we returned to figuring out what to do with the x’s and y’s in his assignment, he said, “When am I ever going to use this stuff?”

I couldn’t help but smile, saying, “Well, Logan, this is exactly the stuff you’ll use if you become an engineer!” He hadn’t realized the connection between algebra and his hoped-for future. Sometimes we view Scripture that way. When we listen to sermons and read certain parts of the Bible, we may think, “When am I ever going to use this?” The psalmist David had some answers. He said God’s truths found in Scripture are effective for “refreshing the soul,” “making wise the simple,” and “giving joy to the heart” (PSALM 19:7–8). The wisdom of Scripture, found in the first five books of the Bible as referred to in Psalm 19 (as well as all of Scripture), helps us as we daily rely on the Spirit’s leading (PROVERBS 2:6).

And without the Scriptures, we’d lack the vital way God has provided for us to experience Him and better know His love and ways. Why study the Bible? Because “the commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes” (PSALM 19:8). - DAVE BRANON

휴식을 위한 허락

나는 친구 수지와 함께 바닷가 바위 위에 앉아서 파도의 거품이 곡선을 그리며 물보라로 변하여 사라지는 모습을 바라보고 있었습니다. 물결이 하나씩 다가오며 바위에 부딪치는 모습을 보면서 수지가 말했습니다. “나는 바다가 너무 좋아. 끊임없이 움직이니까 내가 가만있어도 되잖아!”

우리가 쉬기 위해 일을 잠깐 멈추려면 “허락”을 받아야 한다고 느낀다는 점이 흥미롭지 않습니까? 글쎄요, 휴식은 좋으신 우리 하나님께서 우리에게 주시는 것인데 말입니다! 하나님은 6일 동안 빛과 땅, 식물, 동물, 그리고 사람을 창조하여 이 지구라는 존재를 빚어내셨습니다. 그런 다음 7일째 되는 날 안식하셨습니다(창세기 1:31-2:2). 하나님은 그분을 영화롭게 하는 건강한 삶을 살도록 십계명에 규칙들을 열거해 놓으셨는데(출애굽기 20:3-17), 그 중에 안식일을 기억하여 쉬라는 명령도 포함되어 있습니다(8-11절). 신약에서 우리는 예수님께서 마을의 모든 아픈 사람들을 고치신 후(마가복음 1:29-34), 이튿날 아침 일찍 한적한 곳에 가서 기도하신 것을 봅니다(35절). 우리 하나님은 뚜렷한 의도로 일하시고 쉬셨습니다.

일을 통해 공급하시고 휴식하도록 초대하시는 하나님의 리듬은 우리 주변에서 얼마든지 볼 수 있습니다. 봄에 파종하고 여름에 성장하며 가을에 수확하고 겨울에는 휴식하는 그 리듬. 아침, 점심, 오후, 저녁, 그리고 밤. 하나님은 우리의 삶이 일과 휴식 모두를 갖도록 명령하시고 또 허락하십니다.

PERMISSION TO REST

We sat atop some beach boulders, my friend Soozi and I, watching the foam send up sea spray in arched curls. Looking at the incoming waves crashing one after another against the rocks, Soozi announced, “I love the ocean. It keeps moving so I don’t have to!”

Isn’t it interesting how some of us feel we need “permission” to pause from our work to rest? Well, that’s just what our good God offers us! For six days, God spun the earth into existence, creating light, land, vegetation, animals, and humans. Then on the seventh day, He rested (GENESIS 1:31–2:2). In the Ten Commandments, God listed His rules for healthy living to honor Him (EXODUS 20:3–17), including the command to remember the Sabbath as a day of rest (VV. 8–11). In the New Testament, we see Jesus healing all the sick of the town (MARK 1:29–34) and then early the next morning retreating to a solitary place to pray (V. 35). Purposefully, our God both worked and rested.

The rhythm of God’s provision in work and His invitation to rest reverberates around us. Spring’s planting yields growth in summer, harvest in autumn, and rest in winter. Morning, noon, afternoon, evening, night. God orders our lives for both work and rest, offering us permission to do both. - ELISA MORGAN

영적 쇄신

그러나 우리가 육체를 관리하기 위해 개발한 여러 가지 방법들은 일시적인 만족감을 가져다줄 뿐입니다. 그보다 더 중요한 것은 우리가 영적으로 건강하고 강해지는 것입니다. 예수님을 믿는 우리는 주님을 통한 영적 쇄신이라는 선물을 받았습니다. 바울 사도는 이렇게 썼습니다. “우리의 겉 사람은 낡아지나 우리의 속 사람은 날로 새로워지도다”(고린도후서 4:16). 매일 여러 가지 도전에 직면할 때 두려움이나 상처, 근심 같은 것들에 얽매이면 우리는 짓눌릴 수 있습니다. 영적 쇄신은 우리가 “보이는 것을 바라보지 않고 보이지 않는 것을 바라볼”(18 절, 현대인의 성경) 때 일어납니다. 우리가 그렇게 하는 것은 일상의 근심을 하나님께 맡기고 사랑과 기쁨과 평안과 같은 성령의 열매가 우리 삶에 새롭게 나타나도록 기도함으로써 가능합니다(갈라디아서 5:22-23). 우리가 하나님께 우리의 어려움을 내어놓고 날마다 성령께서 우리를 통해 빛을 발하시도록 할 때, 하나님께서 우리의 영혼을 회복시켜 주십니다.

SPIRITUAL RENEWAL

Chinese medicine has practiced pearl powder exfoliation for thousands of years, using ground pearls to scrub away dead cells resting at the top of the skin. In Romania, rejuvenating therapeutic mud has become a widely sought-after exfoliant that’s purported to make skin youthful and glowing. All over the world, people use body care practices they believe will renew even the dullest of skin.

The tools we’ve developed to maintain our physical bodies, however, can only bring us temporary satisfaction. What matters more is that we remain spiritually healthy and strong. As believers in Jesus, we’re given the gift of spiritual renewal through Him. The apostle Paul wrote, “Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day” (2 CORINTHIANS 4:16). The challenges we face daily can weigh us down when we hold on to things like fear, hurt, and anxiety. Spiritual renewal comes when we “fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen” (V. 18). We do this by turning our daily worries over to God and praying for the fruit of the Holy Spirit—including love, joy, and peace—to emerge anew in our lives (GALATIANS 5:22–23). 만족을 얻기

CATCHING CONTENTMENT

In a psychiatrist’s advice column, he responded to a reader named Brenda, who lamented that her ambitious pursuits had left her discontented. His words were blunt. Humans aren’t designed to be happy, he said, “only to survive and reproduce.” We’re cursed to chase the “teasing and elusive butterfly” of contentment, he added, “not always to capture it.”

I wonder how Brenda felt reading the psychiatrist’s nihilistic words and how different she may have felt had she read Psalm 131 instead. In its words, David gives us a guided reflection on how to find contentment. He begins in a posture of humility, putting his kingly ambitions aside, and while wrestling life’s big questions is important, he puts those aside too (V. 1). Then he quiets his heart before God (V. 2), entrusting the future into His hands (V. 3). The result is beautiful: “like a weaned child with its mother,” he says, “I am content” (V. 2).

In a broken world like ours, contentment will at times feel elusive. In Philippians 4:11–13, the apostle Paul said contentment is something to be learned. But if we believe we’re only designed to “survive and reproduce,” contentment will surely be an uncatchable butterfly. David shows us another way: catching contentment through quietly resting in God’s presence. - SHERIDAN VOYSEY

형제 사울

“주님, 거기만 아니라면 어디로 보내셔도 좋습니다.” 십대 시절 나는 외국에 일년 동안 교환 학생으로 가려고 준비하면서 하나님께 그런 기도를 드렸습니다. 그때 나는 어디로 가게 될지는 몰랐지만, 가고 싶지 ‘않은’ 곳이 어디인지는 알고 있었습니다. 나는 그 나라 말을 할 수 없었고 내 마음도 그 나라의 문화와 사람들에 대한 편견으로 가득 차 있었습니다. 그래서 하나님께 그곳이 아닌 다른 곳으로 보내 달라고 했습니다.

그러나 헤아릴 수 없는 지혜를 지니신 하나님은 내가 가고 싶지 않다고 기도했던 바로 그곳으로 나를 보내셨습니다. 그때 하나님께서 그렇게 해 주셔서 지금 너무 감사합니다! 40년이 지난 지금도 여전히 그 땅에 사랑하는 친구들이 있습니다. 내가 결혼할 때 신랑 들러리를 서기 위해 스테판이 그곳에서 왔습니다. 그리고 그가 결혼할 때 나는 그 은혜에 보답하기 위해 그곳으로 날아 갔습니다. 그리고 우리는 곧 다시 방문할 계획을 세우고 있습니다.

하나님께서 사람의 마음을 변화시키시면 아름다운 일이 일어납니다! 그같은 변화는 “형제 사울”이라는 단 두 단어에도 잘 나타나 있습니다(사도행전 9:17).

이 말은 회심한 사울의 시력을 즉시 치료하라고 하나님께서 부르셨던 믿음의 사람 아나니아(10-12절)가 한 말입니다. 아나니아는 처음에는 사울의 폭력적인 과거 때문에 그 말씀에 반발하며 이렇게 기도했습니다. “주여 이 사람에 대하여 내가 여러 사람에게 듣사온즉 그가 예루살렘에서 주의 성도에게 적지 않은 해를 끼쳤다 하나이다”(13절).

그러나 아나니아는 순종하며 갔습니다. 그의 마음의 변화로 아나니아는 믿음 안에서 새로운 형제를 얻었고, 사울은 바울이 되었으며, 예수님의 복음은 힘 있게 전파되었습니다. 주님을 통해 언제나 진정한 변화가 일어날 수 있습니다!

BROTHER SAUL

“Lord, please send me anywhere but there.” That was my prayer as a teenager before embarking on a year as a foreign exchange student. I didn’t know where I would be going, but I knew where I didn’t want to go. I didn’t speak that country’s language, and my mind was filled with prejudices against its customs and people. So I asked God to send me elsewhere.

But God in His infinite wisdom sent me precisely where I asked not to go. I’m so glad He did! Forty years later, I still have dear friends in that land. When I got married, my best man Stefan came from there. When he got married, I flew there to return the favor. And we’re planning another visit soon.

Beautiful things happen when God causes a change of heart! Such a transformation is illustrated by just two words: “Brother Saul” (ACTS 9:17).

Those words were from Ananias, a believer God called to heal Saul’s sight immediately after his conversion (VV. 10–12). Ananias resisted at first because of Saul’s violent past, praying: “I have heard many reports about this man and all the harm he has done to your holy people” (V. 13).

But Ananias was obedient and went. And because he had a change of heart, Ananias gained a new brother in faith, Saul became known as Paul, and the good news of Jesus spread with power. True change is always possible through Him! - JAMES BANKS
